Titus County Fair Scholarships
Online Application

Barbara Parker, Chairman

Each year the Titus County Fair Association awards a graduating boy and girl who live in Titus County scholarships to further their education at a college or university. Each scholarship will be in the amount of $1000.00, and will be paid $500 per semester upon proof of college or university enrollment. A GPA of 2.0 must be maintained.

Selection of the recipients will be based on merit as determined by the Out of County Judging Committee. The selection criteria includes the student's high school academic record and eligibility for university admission, leadership as demonstrated in school and community activities, participation in the Titus County Fair, financial need, character, and future plans.

Each applicant should attach a small photograph, high school transcript, and a statement concerning plans for college and career. Include personal and/or biographical information which you think will help or be of interest to the selection committee.

Applications may be printed from the "Online Application" site listed above. These applications must be turned back in to your school counselor no later than September 15, 2010. Contact Barbara Parker for more information, 572-2490.
